Exhibit: DeepHEX

DeepHEX are hexagonal 3D-structures with considerably increased structure dome heights of up to 11 mm. Due to the significantly increased height of structure domes DeepHEX offers synergetic performance characteristics:

- Significantly increased bending rigidity with large potential for material saving
- Enhanced crash properties by increased energy absorption
- Particularly rigid sandwich elements when two DeepHEX structured sheet metals are joined with each other
- Various combination options with other materials like felts, foils and films

Possible materials for DeepHEX structuring are:

Sheets made of steel, stainless steel, aluminum (thickness up to 1.2mm) and perforated sheet metals (thickness up to 2mm). In principle both fl at sheets and previously welded cylinders can be processed with DeepHEX.
