Sandwich-Verbundplatten aus Composites

Die Substitution von Holzschalungsplatten durch hochleistungsfähige Verbundwerkstoffe auf Polymerbasis mag auf den ersten Blick wie ein typischer Fall von Over-Engineering erscheinen.
Doch es besteht durchaus Grund zur Annahme, dass ein neues Schalungsprodukt von Hünnebeck (Ratingen), einem der weltweit führenden Anbieter von Schalungen und Gerüsten, einen Paradigmenwechsel in diesem Markt signalisiert.

Hünnebeck führt seit neuestem Betondecken-Schalungsplatten in seinem Portfolio, die von Quadrant Plastic Composites aus SymaLITE®, einem glasfaserverstärkten Leichtbaustoff auf Polypropylenbasis, in einer Sandwichstruktur zwischen zwei Schichten GMTex™ hergestellt werden. Bei letzterem handelt es sich um einen hochleistungsfähigen Glasmattenthermoplast (GMT). Hünnebeck beabsichtigt, die bisherigen Holzplatten in sämtlichen seiner Schalungssysteme allmählich durch diese Composites zu ersetzen, beginnend bei den Deckenschalungen der Marke TOPEC.
