Glass fabrics embedded in soft and flexible silicone sheets are the basis for this novel material development. This concept creates new and useful properties relevant for industrial and design applications. The composite material has in addition to the visually striking metallic coloring, a very pleasant and soft feel, a stable fiber fixation and is also fully air- and water-tight.
