Normally, copper based materials will develop a characteristic discoloration called patina on the surface. Sometimes you want it, sometimes not. This novel coating system will prevent the formation of a patina on the surface of copper parts and components. A change of the typicall appearance of the copper surface is almost not noticeable. The nano-based coating will act permanent, is mechanically stable and chemically resistant.
