Basically, here's a conventional steel sheet - but only at first glance! Tailor-made surface properties were generated applying innovative coating concepts based on nano technology. High scratch resistance, high wear resistance, optimized corrosion protection and enhanced cleaning behavior are just some examples for characteristics that this thin and glassy layer provides. In addition, the sheet of metal is bent. The coating was applied before the forming process was performed. So the coating will resist against wanted or unwanted deformations.
